Installation of a Audiovox CDM-4000/ CDM-9000 faceplate or antenna

  1. Important: These instructions are to guide you through the process and are to be used at your own risk. Do not poke at the circuit board! Do not have any other power source attached!
  2. 1) Remove the battery from the back of the Audiovox CDM-4000/ CDM-9000 cell phone.
  3. 2) Remove the 3 screws that lie underneath where the battery fits, using a small size Phillips screwdriver.
  4. 3) Un-snap all sides of the faceplate. You can use your fingernail or a thin blade screwdriver, and wedge between the faceplate and the backside of the phone. More details [1] - thanks to aftermarketcellular.com
